Steve Sheppard and his Shepcats have been popular mainstays on Nantucket for over a decade. With their easy bluegrass sound, the band conjures up visions of lazy afternoons, good friends, and paper plates full of BBQ.
Scalable from a trio to a quintet, the Shepcats are a delightful addition to any gathering, and they can make the crowd shimmy as easily as they can fade into the background as part of the event's scenery.
Steve is also well known regionally as the author of The Fenway Song, Boston baseball's answer to "Take Me Out ot the Ballgame." As noted baseball scribe Dan Shaughnessy has noted, The Fenway Song "puts you right in the middle of section nine, row 12, seats 1 and 2."

"To me, the Shepcats sound like the fourth of July. What a great band!" - Baylor S., Nantucket
