The Dempseys Rock Nantucket - 08/12/06
The Dempseys may be based in Memphis, but this unique rockabilly and roots-rock trio has fans all over the country. The Dempseys made a recent Nantucket appearance at a wedding at the White Elephant, where they had the crowd rockin' all the way till the end of the party.
Only the week before, the guys had performed for a wedding in Los Angeles, and two weeks prior to that, they performed for the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Japan when they visited Memphis and Graceland.
