REG presents JT for Hilton - 02/28/07
Spellbinders, Inc. of Memphis produced the Unwind and Engage conference for Hilton Hotel owners February 26-28, 2007, and once again, Spellbinders had REG handle the live entertainment for the series of events.
REG provided entertainment ranging from solo pianists to REG awesome rockabilly trio The Dempseys, but the highlight of the conference was the performance of James Taylor backed by a 26-member orchestra that closed the proceedings at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, CA.
According to Taylor, it had been a decade since he had performed with orchestra, but he quickly gelled with the unit of LA-based players that REG brought together. Under the direction of composer Charles Floyd, the performance resulted in beaming smiles from JT, the orchestra, and most importantly, the client.
It was a very special night, and there’s no question that this performance will make a lot of Top 10 lists not only from the guests in attendance, but also the production professionals involved.
